You can also submit a superbill to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
What is a superbill and how does it work?
A superbill is a document that summarizes your visit, including provider information and diagnosis codes. Some insurance plans allow patients to submit this document for out-of-network reimbursement.
After your visit, you can submit the superbill directly to your insurance company through their online portal or by mail. If your plan offers reimbursement, the payment is typically sent directly to you.
